Version 1.5 · © 2026 Devine Arts and Games LLC · Game commentary is original analysis written for this app; the historical games are public records. Style profiles are stylistic models, not reproductions of the players. The built-in engine plays at roughly strong-club level; Stockfish 10 at its maximum setting exceeds the strength of the 1997 Deep Blue machine on modern hardware.
Pace sets the pause after each move so you can read the commentary; Pause and Step one move work at any time; the arrow keys step back through the game. Profiles are stylistic models built from each player's known games and repertoire: opening choices, appetite for sacrifice, attacking weight, positional and endgame emphasis. They steer the engine's evaluation; they do not reproduce the real player's moves.
